Thermostable Adenylate Kinase

Après plusieurs années de recherche, Public Health England a développé des tests permettant la validation de la stérilisation des instruments chirurgicaux afin d’assurer la sureté des opérations hospitalières vis à vis des prions et de bactéries résistantes.

15 ans de recherche sur une bactérie nommée Sulpholobus Acidocaldarius ont permis cette prouesse technique.

During many years of research and development, Public Health England developed testing indicators to assess the validation of the sterility of surgical instruments in hospitals. This has been established to insure the safety of the interventions in british hospitals against prions and resistant bacteria strains.

After 15 years of research on Sulpholobus Acidocaldarius bacteria, this work leaded to discover this breakthrough technology.

Production of the Enzyme is now completely qualified on recombinant bacteria and one production is now providing a set of more than 1 000 000 units.
